What Makes a Good Password?
Strong passwords are essential to keep your accounts safe. A good password should be:
- Long enough: At least 12 characters is recommended.
- Complex: Use a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Unique: Donβt reuse passwords across multiple accounts.
- Unpredictable: Avoid common words, phrases, or obvious patterns like “123456” or “password”.
- Memorable (for you): Consider using a passphrase made of random words, numbers, and symbols.
Example of a strong password: Tr33H0us3!G0ld$7
Tip: Consider using a reliable password manager to generate and store complex passwords safely.
